Gargoyle Academy is the physical training home of Elevated Tasks — a facility built from the ground up to train wildlife control operators, pest professionals, roofing contractors, and tradespeople in the real skills required to work safely at height.
Located in St. Louis, Missouri, the academy hosts all of our in-person courses including Steep Slope Roof Pitch Traversing, Elevated Exclusions, Rope Descent Systems, and the MEWP Masterclass. Every station is designed to replicate the actual structures, slopes, and access challenges students encounter on the job.
This isn't a classroom with a projector. Students leave with muscle memory, practical technique, and the confidence that comes from training on real equipment in real conditions.

The facility features multiple styles of roofing and siding materials, spanning a range of real-world roof pitches — from low-slope to steep — so students train on the exact surface types they'll encounter on actual job sites. No generic platforms, no approximations. The structures were designed and built by tradespeople who know what the work actually demands.
